Colian Holding-owned chocolate brand Lily O’Brien’s has launched its Winter Desserts Collection to meet demand for seasonal premium chocolates.
Inspired by some of the world’s best-loved dessert recipes with a seasonal twist, each box of 18 chocolates has been made “using the finest ingredients”.
The collection consists of six different chocolates: dark orange, triple chocolate shot, spiced latte, apple pie crunch, berry eton mess and festive crème brúlée.
Lily O’Brien’s international marketing manager Hilary Hughes said: “The winter-inspired collection wows with delicious festive flavours presented in a new elegantly designed, navy and metallic rose gold packaging, making it the perfect gift this season. It is the ideal premium trade up for retailers to stock to drive value sales at this time of year.
“My standout favourite from the collection is the spiced latte, expertly blending double roasted arabica bean coffee with spice and white chocolate to create the most amazing latte chocolate. It’s a must try collection this season, I’m confident they won’t last long – so share wisely.’’
The Lily O’Brien’s Winter Desserts Collection is available at UK supermarkets Tesco, Waitrose, Asda and Morrisons with a recommended retail price of £7.
Earlier this year, Polish food producer and distributor Colian Holding, owner of UK chocolate brand Elizabeth Shaw, agreed a €40 million deal to acquire Ireland’s Lily O’Brien’s.
The chocolatier exports premium chocolate to over 15 countries and currently employs 120 staff at its Newbridge factory in Ireland.
Last month, Lily O’Brien’s released a new Share Bags range, in a move to tap into the trend of sharing chocolates. Available in 120g and 110g packs, the line includes four flavours: mega milk chocolate, dark Belgian chocolate, crunchy salted almond, and creamy caramel with sea salt.
