Lotus Bakeries‘ corporate venture fund, FF2032, has announced that it will invest a minority stake in US snack brand, The Good Crisp Company.
Founded in 2015, The Good Crisp Company is a better-for-you savoury snack brand that offers a range of natural, gluten-free, clean-label, non-GMO and allergen-friendly crisps. The brand currently features five flavours in two formats, and also recently launched a new snack product, Cheese Balls.
Matthew Parry, founder and CEO of The Good Crisp Company, said: “As part of the Lotus Bakeries Group, FF2032 brings generations of experience in growing and commercialising amazing tasting snacks. Especially in light of all the opportunities that we are already seeing in 2022, such as growth opportunities with new retailers and increasing rotations…”
The Good Crisp Company has over 13,000 points of distribution, including Walmart, Whole Foods, Kroger and Wegmans.
The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Last year, FF2032 invested in Love Brands, a premium crunch corn snack brand.
