Net sales were at Rs 598m (€920,000) for the third quarter against Rs 680m (€1m) in the previous year. The net loss was Rs 738m (€1.4m) for the quarter compared with Rs 53m (€81,000) for the same period last year.
The company is part of the Tata group, which comprises 98 companies across seven business sectors. The company is internationally accredited by the US FDA, the European Union, the health ministries of Japan and France and Institut Fresenius in Germany.
The company bottles and sells natural mineral water under the brand name Himalayan, which it claims to be the only internationally accepted natural mineral water from India. Its mineral water source is located in the Shiwalik range of the Himalayas. The company claims to have one of the largest natural mineral water plants in Asia.
