Canned cocktail company Mule 2.0 has announced the launch of four new ready-to-drink cocktails that are made with real spirits.
Launching in the US nationwide, the additions to the line-up include London Mule (gin), Mexican Mule (tequila), Caribé Mule (rum) and Old Fashioned Mule (bourbon whiskey).
The four cocktails join Moscow Mule which debuted in 2015, in response to the inconsitent preparation of the drink. With her brand, Lisa Marlow hopes to provide an on-the-go option that offers the consistent flavours of the authentic drink.
Unlike the Moscow Mule that has an 8% ABV, the new additions offer a 5% ABV but are also made with natural flavours.
“I wanted to create cocktails with the quality of real spirits rather than malt-based seltzers,” said Lisa Marlow, CEO and founder of Mule 2.0.
The full line-up will be launching in 34 US states in retailers such as Target and Walmart, as well as independent stores.
