Newman’s Own, a US food company that gives 100% of its profits to charity, has released a new line of dairy-free salad dressings.
With an avocado oil and extra virgin olive oil base, the new salad dressings are available in Ranch, Caesar and Greek Dressing varieties.
The ‘creamy’ dressings are said to be free from dairy, sugar and gluten, and the Greek dressing is also suitable for vegans.
The Connecticut-based brand says that its latest offerings are also Paleo and Keto Certified, and contain no soy or canola.
“From the beginning, Paul Newman wanted Newman’s Own to stand for two principles: creating great-tasting food and donating 100% of profits to charity,” said Bruce Bruemmer, vice president of marketing for Newman’s Own.
“The new line of Avocado Oil & Extra Virgin Olive Oil Dressings continues Paul’s founding tradition by providing families with a great-tasting, dairy-free dressing that also gives back to those in need.”
The dressings are available, for an RRP of $5.49, at select retailers in New England, including Hannaford Supermarket, Stop & Shop and Big Y World Class Market.
