Oasis and AquiSense develop new UV disinfection solution

Oasis International has partnered with AquiSense Technologies to develop a new UVC LED disinfection solution suitable for a wide range of water dispensers.

AquiSense and Oasis have worked together for over a year as to develop the Quasar solution, which uses AquiSense’s ultraviolet light emitting PearlAqua diode to provide safe drinking water.

The Quasar system offers a microbial disinfection barrier directly at the point of discharge for multiple Oasis products, including water coolers, fountains, bottle fillers, and point of use dispensers.

According to AquiSense, the solution is able to eliminate 99.9% of potential contaminants in drinking water.
