“Customers would call to order the KaliX fitted with filters and ask if there was an alternative to disposable ones,” said Oasis MD, Pete Benua. “This got us to thinking we could introduce a filter with a completely reusable housing and biodegradable elements.”
Not satisfied with the impact that disposable replacement filters have on the environment, particularly landfill, Oasis has worked with a UK company that specialises in filtration systems to supply the KaliX range with the new, green filter, to meet the sustainability challenges in all markets.
The patented green filter concept provides top-range filtration performance by employing colour-coded filtration inserts manufactured by world-leading suppliers of water filtration technology.
“We have an ongoing responsibility to our customers to ensure our products are environmentally friendly, and that begins with reusable, not throwaway, parts,” said Benua. “We started with the removable reservoir bottled coolers and an entire cooler range designed with modular, long-lasting cabinet designs. With the green filter, we’re taking another step towards providing environmentally responsible, high-performance products for our customers.”
