New brand Oath has launched to market in the US with a range of functional oat milk-based beverages.
The Oath Organic Oat-Milk with Plant Protein drinks have 15-16g of protein, 6-10g of fibre and are available in four flavours: double chocolate, matcha chai, Indian rose and golden turmeric.
The beverages feature ingredients such as almonds, pumpkin seeds, and oats, joining them with apple fibre, spices and botanicals including saffron, ginger, and cardamom to offer “numerous health benefits” and create a flavour, taste, and silky mouthfeel “that has yet to exist”.
Oath said the drinks can be consumed cold or heated up and are suitable pre- or post-workout, as a meal replacement or in the evening to help promote muscle regeneration.
“Andy, my co-founder, and I share a passion for food that is so delicious it feels like a cheat treat, yet is super healthy, it adds to your wellbeing,” said brand founder Royce Pinkwater.
“Together, after almost two years of tasting and testing, we created this in a grab-and-go format that works for anyone, anywhere, at any time.”
Co-founder Andy Khiani added: “Oath is a perfect expression of sustainability for the planet, for its inhabitants, and for myself. Living with HIV, I have always known the connection between body and mind and how food plays a huge part between the two.
“A healthy body, via organic, whole foods, creates a healthy mind and that, in turn, creates a healthy, sustainable environment.”
The Oath Organic Oat-Milk with Plant Protein line is now available in select US retailers.
