Ocean Spray Cranberries has unveiled a new range of flavoured dried fruit and nut snack mixes, containing plant-based protein.
Made with a mix of spices and seasonings, Ocean Spray Craveology will be available in three variants: spicy coconut curry, vanilla chai and Tuscan herb.
Craveology features a mix of walnuts, pecans, roasted peanuts and almonds, roasted pumpkin seeds, and cranberries.
Containing 3-6g of protein per serving, Ocean Spray’s new offerings can be eaten on their own or added as a topping to meals. The range is said to be free from artificial colours, flavours and preservatives.
“We are thrilled to be introducing Craveology and offering even more ways for people to incorporate snacking of the cranberry superfruit into their everyday routines,” said Katy Latimer, VP of research and development at Ocean Spray.
“To do this, we set out to create new guilt-free snacking options as part of our ongoing commitment to focus on health and wellness as we continue to evolve our farmer-owned cooperative.
“Craveology is for those who like trying new recipes and food products with bursts of authentic flavours from around the world.”
The new range will be available from select retailers across the US, with a further roll out expected to follow.
Ocean Spray Cranberries recently unveiled a new functional beverage brand, B1U, as part of its efforts to expand in the health and wellness categories.
