Odysea launches ‘UK’s first’ ambient houmous 

Greek food brand Odysea has announced the launch of a new ambient houmous, which it claims is the first of its kind to be available at UK supermarkets.

Suitable for vegans, Odysea’s new houmous features a blend of cumin, tahini and chickpeas, balanced with citrus notes.

The clean-label dip is packaged in a glass jar, without any plastic, and is made with extra virgin olive oil for a “rich, Mediterranean flavour and silky texture”.

Perfect for dipping and spreading, the houmous is said to pair well with premium crisps and crunchy vegetables.

With an RRP of £2.50, the new offering is available from select Sainsbury’s stores nationwide.
