PepsiCo has announced the launch of Pepsi Mango in the US, marking the brand’s first new permanent flavoured cola in five years.
Pepsi Mango will be available in both regular and zero sugar options, in 12oz cans and 20oz bottles.
“Mango is one of the most popular fruits in the world, and it serves as the perfect complement to Pepsi, creating an irresistible combination that our fans can enjoy everywhere throughout the year,” said Todd Kaplan, vice president of marketing for Pepsi.
The drink is launching in hand with a new campaign dedicated to helping people find their perfect match, as Pepsi turns its advertising inventory on social media platforms into real dating advertorials.
The brand has released limited-edition drinks over the past couple of years including Pepsi “Cocoa” Cola and an apple pie-flavoured cola; however, the new tropical fruit variant marks the first permanent addition to the Pepsi portfolio in five years.
Pepsi Mango will begin to roll out in stores nationwide from 22 March.
