New beverage company Pompette aims to offer a more sophisticated and convenient option within the hard seltzer category with its new hard sparkling waters.
Inspired by the Mediterranean lifestyle, the range is available in 750ml resealable bottles in four flavours: cucumber lime, rosé hibiscus, lemon mint and clementine berry.
With an ABV of 5%, each 8oz serving contains 50 calories and 2g of sugar.
“With Pompette comes a high-quality product that tastes great, while reinforcing the importance of enjoying the good times in life,” said Jeremy Smith, Pompette founder.
“We believe with Pompette, we bring a premium product packaged in a resealable 750ml glass format that the market has yet to experience.”
Enjoyed over ice or garnished with fresh fruit, Pompette is available in select US states for a suggested retail price of between $9.99 and $12.99.
The launch comes as hard seltzer sales in the US are surging, led by brands such as White Claw and Truly.
A recent report from IWSR Drinks Market Analysis suggests the hard seltzer category in the US will more than triple by 2023. IWSR said the rise of the category “has been nothing short of phenomenal”.
