AquaVenture Holdings subsidiary Quench has agreed a deal to acquire US-based water cooler manufacturer Bluline for an undisclosed sum.
Florida-based Bluline produces a range of bottle-less, point-of-use water coolers which are distributed nationwide in the US, and the addition of the business will expand Quench’s portfolio of filtered water coolers, ice machines, sparkling water dispensers and coffee brewers.
Quench claims that this acquisition adds approximately 900 new clients with more than 1,300 rental and service units to its established client base, and enhances its position in South Florida.
Quench currently serves approximately 45,000 customers, and the acquisition of Bluline’s distribution business adds dozens of dealers and ecommerce partners who resell the company’s product line of water coolers and filters throughout the US.
Tony Ibarguen, president of AquaVenture Holdings and CEO of Quench said: “We are excited to welcome Bluline’s customers and team to the Quench family.
“South Florida has been a target market for us for a long time, and Bluline’s customer base and dealer network fit perfectly with our growth strategy. This represents Quench’s eighth acquisition of 2018.”
