UK-based vegan chocolate brand Raw Halo has launched a new look and recyclable, plastic-free packaging, alongside the introduction of additional flavours.
The brand’s portfolio is now available in seven Dark and three Mylk varieties in three sizes: 22g, a 35g single-serve snack bar and a 70g bar for sharing.
Three new variants have been released: 85% dark chocolate, dark and raspberry, and dark and Himalayan pink salt.
Raw Halo said that unlike conventional chocolate, its cacao beans aren’t roasted; instead, through temperature control, the raw cacao is minimally processed “to retain the nutrients and flavour of the original cacao beans”.
Raw Halo has updated the look of its bars through a collaboration with B&B Studio. Inside the thick paper envelope, the chocolate is cloaked in bespoke gold foil wrappers to create “a real moment of luxury”.
Meg Haggar, who co-founded the brand in 2015, said: “At Raw Halo, we believe in everyday luxuries that benefit mind, body and spirit. That’s why our chocolate is designed to be better in every sense, for you and the planet.
“We’ve created a luxury chocolate bar that’s healthier, more natural and better quality, making better-made and better-for-you the new benchmark for premium chocolate.”
Stockists include Waitrose, Ocado, Holland & Barrett, Harrods, Whole Foods, As Nature Intended and Planet Organic.
