Russian Standard Vodka has unveiled a new packaging design as it looks to “strengthen emotional connections with consumers”.
The “minimalist” design for Russian Standard Original has an increased emphasis on the logo and brand name. An additional silver label highlights the vodka’s origins in the city of St Petersburg.
The bell-shaped bottle has been altered for a “lighter and more elegant” product, finished with a unique cap design.
“Established in 1998, the Russian Standard brand set a high benchmark for the entire industry in terms of the quality of vodka and its packaging,” said Roustam Tariko, founder and chairman of Russian Standard Holding.
“Today we are pleased to present the first revolutionary update and offer a modern perception of the traditions of high quality of the best Russian premium vodka in the world.”
The updated Russian Standard Original is available in stores from October.
Russian Standard Vodka is crafted using water of glacial origin from Lake Ladoga and wheat from the Russian Steppes and is distilled in St Petersburg.
Last year, the brand carried out a £2.5 million marketing campaign in the UK.
