US dairy company Shamrock Farms has added to its Rockin’ Protein range with new variants that combine the benefits of protein and superfruits.
Called Rockin’ Protein Plus, two flavours are available in the US: cherry crème and blueberry pomegranate. The beverages contain no added sugars and are lactose free.
Shamrock Farms says the ready-to-drink beverages boast the health advantages of anti-inflammation and antioxidants from real fruit juice and natural protein from real milk.
Cherry Crème contains more than 35 Montmorency tart cherries per bottle. According to the company, tart cherries can help with anti-inflammation, exercise recovery and improve sleep.
Meanwhile, the blueberry pomegranate variant is naturally packed with antioxidants to support a healthy immune system and are a good source of vitamins A, C and E.
The new additions expand Shamrock Farms’ existing beverage line up of ready-to-drink protein milkshakes and cold brew coffee.
“Health-conscious consumers are more proactive than ever when it comes to wellness, and that trend continues to drive the demand for functional beverages,” said Ann Ocaña, chief marketing officer at Shamrock Farms.
