Sleep Well has released a chocolate-flavoured milk drink which is said to help consumers get a good night’s sleep.
Jersey-based Sleep Well, which launched its first natural milk drink last year, has expanded its portfolio ahead of Christmas.
The chocolate milk drink is made with Jersey milk, honey and valerian – a herb which contains relaxing qualities when consumed.
Sam Watts, co-founder of Sleep Well, said: “We have been thrilled with the positive response from customers around the UK since we launched Sleep Well vanilla milk last year. We’ve spent months refining and developing our new chocolate recipe, so we can get the right balance of smooth, comforting, chocolate cosiness just in time for the festive season to soothe frazzled customers.”
She added: “What we do 30 minutes before we head to bed directly impacts the quality and quantity of our sleep. Creating positive sleep habits is essential and Sleep Well is designed to be part of a healthy bedtime routine. This is particularly important at times of either great stress or great excitement when your sleep patterns are likely to be even more disrupted.”
Available in 200ml cartons and family-size 1-litre packs, Sleep Well can be enjoyed warm or chilled. The portfolio, which is produced using UHT milk, has a six-month shelf life.
