International spirits company Stoli Group has announced the appointment of Damian McKinney as its new global CEO.
McKinney is said to bring a ‘wealth of knowledge and experience in the spirits business’ to the position.

In 1999, he founded global consultancy McKinney Rogers and was subsequently awarded Keeper of the Quaich for his role in the transformation of Diageo’s Johnnie Walker brand, and his services to the Scotch Whisky industry.
In his business transformation endeavours, McKinney has worked across many industries and continents, with a particular focus on the alcohol industry.
Prior to founding McKinney Rogers, which he sold in 2017, McKinney served as a military leader in the Royal Marine Commandos.

Part of the Luxembourg-headquartered SPI Group, Stoli Group manages a portfolio of brands, including Stolichnaya Vodka, Bayou Rum, Cenote Tequila and Se Busca Mezcal.
Last year, the company announced the launch of Gator Bite, a line of flavoured rum liqueurs.
