In the UK, dairy brand The Collective has launched a new range of yogurt pouches aimed at children.
Called Puds, the line is marketed as a lower-sugar snacking option and contains whole milk yogurt and live cultures. Two flavours are available: chocolate and vanilla.
“As a parent myself, I know first-hand the struggles of finding a low-sugar, healthy snack for my little one that I can feel happy about,” said Amelia Harvey, co-founder of The Collective.
“Following the great success of our Suckies pouches, with the launch of live whole milk yogurt Puds, we want to help parents win the pudding battles guilt-free and fuel happiness in homes across the UK, whilst also accelerating category growth.”
The chocolate and vanilla Puds are available in Waitrose and Ocado in the UK with a recommended retail price of £0.75 per 100g tub.
Earlier this month, The Collective announced plans to expand its Happy Hour cocktail-inspired range of yogurts in the UK with a new espresso martini variant.
The product combines The Collective’s signature yogurt with a conserve featuring a blend of Colombian coffee beans and a dash of vodka.
Last year, the brand collaborated with its suppliers to incorporate recyclable black plastic packaging to its Gourmet line of yogurts. Some of the firm’s yogurt tubs feature a special pigment that makes them detectable across UK recycling plants, meaning consumers can recycle the black lids with their generic plastic recycling.
