Treasury Wine Estates has introduced a new Spritz flavour to its Blossom Hill portfolio that it claims is suitable for all seasons.
Blossom Hill Rhubarb & Plum Spritz will be available in Tesco stores across the UK from June.
The limited-edition flavour reportedly celebrates the union of seasonal fruits to deliver a wine suited to multiple seasonal occasions.
Treasury Wine Estates says it can be enjoyed served chilled and over ice in warmer months or mulled and savoured warm in the winter.
With a 5.5% ABV, the new product joins other flavours in the Blossom Hill Spritz line-up including Raspberry & Blackcurrant, Elderflower and Lemon, and Cherry.
As part of its new launch, Blossom Hill has formed a social media partnership and campaign with Arena Flowers, in which competitors can win a bouquet of flowers and a bottle of Blossom Hill Gin Fizz Rhubarb for their loved ones, as well as take part in a virtual flower workshop.
“The brand is evolving and we listen closely to all consumer feedback – we want to ensure we continue to innovate and excite customers with new flavours and combinations that suit every occasion,” said Ben Blake, head of marketing for EMEA at Treasury Wine Estates.
Blossom Hill Gin Fizz Rhubarb comes after several product launches this year including a new Gin Fizz range: a sparkling blend of white wine, botanical-infused water and a dash of gin. This was followed by an expansion into a ready-to-drink canned format.
