Tyson Foods has launched Any’tizers Chicken Chips, which it describes as “the ultimate crave-worthy snack”.
Made with chicken raised with no antibiotics and featuring the crunch of a chip, the range is available in the US in three flavours: BBQ, ranch, and cheddar and sour cream.
With 55 chips per bag and approximately 11g of protein in each serving, Any’tizers Chicken Chips are marketed as being suitable for any snacking occasion.
“The lines between snacking and meals are blurring,” said Colleen Hall, marketing director for the Tyson brand. “Chicken Chips are a great option that can be enjoyed throughout the day and come in popular flavours that offer the perfect amount of crisp, inspired by chips, one of America’s longstanding favourite snacks.”
The introduction comes after Tyson added to its Grabits Chicken on a Stick range in the UK with two limited-edition flavours: habanero mango and vindaloo.
Earlier this year, Tyson, the largest meat producer in the US, announced plans to launch its own line of plant-based meat alternatives.
As part of its new Raised & Rooted brand, the Arkansas-headquartered company will this year release a range of plant-based nuggets made from pea protein isolate as well as blended burgers made with a combination of Angus beef and plants.
