UK-based chocolate maker Doisy & Dam has released a range of Nut Butter Cups as it aims to offer consumers a new snacking experience.
Each cup features a centre made with natural nut butters “for a rich, smooth texture”, encased in Doisy & Dam’s single-origin Colombian chocolate.
The vegan products are free from palm oil and contain under 65 calories each. Two flavours – hazelnut and almond – are available and each 30g pack contains three cups, retailing for £1.35.
“With premium products growing faster than any other sector in the confectionery market, we are thrilled to be launching this range at such a timely moment,” said Ed Smith, Doisy & Dam co-founder.
“Consumers are increasingly seeking out better ways and things to eat as part of their daily lives, and our new Nut Butter Cups provide just that.
“We have created these products to offer consumers a brand new snacking experience with uncompromising quality and flavour, perfect for stashing in desk draws, handbags and lunchboxes.”
Doisy & Dam now has its confectionery products on sale in more than 2,500 stores and the business is aiming for 3,000 by the end of the year.
Last year, the company entered the sharing market with the launch of its Snaps range, which features thin and irregular shards of chocolate that are designed to deliver “maximum melt, flavour and texture in every single bite”.
