Unilever has expanded its Magnum Doubles range in the UK with a new flavour inspired by the popular confection millionaire’s shortbread.
Described as the “most indulgent Magnum yet”, the new variant is available as a stick format and tub option, both containing under 250 calories per serving.
Crafted with “multiple layers of decadence”, Magnum Double Gold Caramel Billionaire features a caramel chocolate coating and biscuit pieces, followed by a caramel sauce and swirls of two ice creams woven with pecan and biscuit.
The new flavour joins the Magnum Double line in the UK which includes ruby berries & cream, dark chocolate & raspberry, and double chocolate deluxe. The brand first debuted the Double range in the US in 2019 in four flavours: sea salt caramel, cookie crumble, chocolate & ganache, and cherry truffle.
Jennifer Dyne, ice cream brand experience director, Unilever UK&I, said: “With the new launch, we’re giving our customers the most amazing multi-sensorial experience, with a unique flavour that has been carefully crafted with multiple layers of decadence, reminding us that pleasure has more than one layer.
“As well as creating a delicious new way to enjoy Magnum, we’ve made sure we’re looking after the planet too. From our cartons, through to our tubs, we’ve created a launch which not only shows innovation in flavour, but recyclability too.”
The new Magnum Double Gold Caramel Billionaire is available to buy now in stores nationwide in stick multipacks, as well as single stick and tub format.
