Utz Quality Foods has introduced a new line of organic cheese snacks under its Good Health brand, in partnership with Organic Valley.
Organic Baked Cheese Puffs and Baked Cheese Fries are made with real cheese from Organic Valley’s pasture-raised cows, an independent dairy cooperative and organic food brand.
The trio of flavours – Mac & Cheese Puffs, Cheddar Fries and Hot & Spicy Fries – will join Good Health’s wide portfolio of snacks such as Veggie Sticks, Veggie Straws, air-popped Half Naked Popcorn and potato chips cooked in olive oil and avocado oil.
The gluten-free and USDA Organic certified products are aimed at families looking for healthier, better-for-you snacking options. The product launch aims to capitalise on the growing category of cheese snacks and the increasing popularity of organic foods.
“We’re thrilled to bring these delicious, high quality snacks to consumers with a renowned partner like Organic Valley,” said Bill Blubaugh, senior vice-president of marketing at Utz Quality Foods.
He added: “By launching Baked Cheese Puffs and Baked Cheese Fries, Good Health Organic is off to a great start. We look forward to Good Health Organic delivering tasty snacks to families.”
In June, Utz Quality Foods announced that it will merge with investment company Collier Creek Holdings to form Utz Brands Inc. The transaction is expected to close in Q3 2020.
Good Health’s trio of snacks can be purchased now in retailers across the US.
