“Vicki’s leadership was fundamental to the formation of key company functions and initiatives, including our debt and cash management platforms, our pension and $401 plan investment programmes, our first enterprise-wide risk management function, our Global Diversity Council and the Ombuds Office,” said John F Brock, chairman and CEO, Coca-Cola Enterprises.
“As a member of the Executive Leadership Team and a highly respected leader, Vicki has made lasting contributions to CCE and her local community over her distinguished career. We’re fortunate that she has agreed to work with us on various diversity, community and sustainability initiatives following her retirement.”
“It is an honour to have spent my career with an incredible company and with extraordinary people,” said Palmer. “CCE provided me with the opportunity to build a meaningful and rewarding career, and I look forward to maintaining a strong relationship with the company as I embark upon this next phase of my life.”
Vicki Palmer joined The Coca-Cola Company in 1983 before joining Coca-Cola Enterprises’ initial leadership team as assistant treasurer when the company formed in 1986. She was then elected corporate vice president and treasurer in 1992; senior vice president and special assistant to the CEO in 2000; and executive vice president, financial services and administration in 2004.
Palmer’s responsibilities for Treasury, Internal Audit, Risk Management, Diversity and Inclusion, the Ombuds Office and Enterprise Risk Management, will be transitioned to other members of CCE’s Executive Leadership Team.
