This afternoon, the winners and finalists in the 19th World Beverage Innovation Awards were announced during a special virtual ceremony. The judging panel considered 155 entries from 20 countries across 21 categories.
This year’s awards celebrated some of the most ambitious new products of 2020 in the Beverage sector, who did not let the coronavirus pandemic halt their ambition and drive to innovate, from both established brands and start-ups.
FoodBev Media Marketing Manager Matt Rushton took a moment to acknowledge this year’s awards: “The past 18 months have been a challenge for us all. It has been brilliant to see the vast amount of innovative products, services and initiatives taking the beverage industry by storm, despite these challenges. Whilst we have announced our finalists and winners I think it is important to congratulate every entry on being brave, daring and forward-thinking enough to continue innovating and creating exciting new products and concepts for the beverage industry, at this tricky time!”
“Congratulations must of course go to our finalists, highly commended finalists and winners, whom our judging panel deemed worthy of such accolades. This year saw some incredibly close scores and incredibly great entries!”
