The bars, which are sold in packs of eight, contain between 45 and 50 calories.
Yasso has released a new line of frozen Greek yogurt bars, as it aims to deliver indulgence in a smaller, snackable format.
Called Snack Buddies, four variants are available in the US – mint cookie chums, strawbuddy lemonade, fudge space chip, and party animal – with eight bars per box.
Yasso said the products, which contain between 45 and 50 calories, represent its attempt at reimagining snack time by pairing delicious flavours with sensible nutrition.
“No one knows snack time better than we do,” said Drew Harrington, Yasso co-founder and co-CEO. “Amanda and I met in our kindergarten classroom during snack time and that friendship throughout the years ultimately led us to launch Yasso.
“We know when a snack delivers on great taste and nutrition, it deserves to be celebrated and shared. That’s the promise of Snack Buddies – from the unique product, to the fun packaging, to the exciting digital engagement with fans.”
The theme of friendship is evident through the Snack Buddies packaging design. Born from the same concept as its seasonal product characters, Yasso worked with creative agency Fortnight Collective and the husband and wife illustrator duo at Brave Union to create a variety of characters.
Yasso was founded by Drew Harrington and Amanda Klane, who set out on a mission to create desserts that deliver on everyday indulgence with great taste and quality ingredients. The brand now offers 18 flavours of its stick bars and nine pint variants.
Last September, a range of limited-edition seasonal frozen yogurt flavours were introduced, available in both pint and stick formats.
