Organic superfood producer Z Natural Foods has released a new Organic Vanilla Cream Vegan Protein, aimed at consumers who want a natural vegan protein free of preservatives.
Made by blending organic pea, rice, and pumpkin seed proteins, the protein powder provides a high amino acid and essential fatty acid profile, while containing no fillers or synthetic ingredients.
Fresh coconut milk and vanilla flavouring is said to give the powder its creamy texture, making it suitable to mix with smoothies, milk or juice.
Sam Hirschberg, marketing director of Z Natural Foods, said: “Coconut milk really is the ideal supporting ingredient as it is packed with phytonutrients, healthy fats, amino acids, vitamins, and minerals.
“Like all our powders, we also dry our coconut at a low temperature to preserve all the naturally occurring enzymes, nutrients, and flavour.”
Using ingredients that are 100% plant-based, the new product is high in fibre and free-from gluten and GMO’s.
“For a vegan and vegetarian lifestyle, finding a complete plant-based protein that has a quality amino acid profile can be a challenge,” said Hirschberg.

The vanilla flavoured protein is packaged in an air-locked, resealable, stand up foil pouch that provides optimum freshness meaning it can be safely stored for two years.
